A shared idea, rooted in Sri Lanka

Dilan and Tivon envisioned Karma Kitchen as a place to share Sri Lankan home cooking. Dilan, Seema and Tivon had started Karma together, and Dilan proposed doing something unique. Karma Kitchen grew from that idea.

Set on a nearly half-century-old property in Unawatuna, our kitchen is part of a living garden. Coconuts, ladies' fingers, tomatoes, different chillies and pumpkins grow here, nurtured with natural fertiliser.

Two dogs and our cats share the place with us. Come for the cooking, take your time in the garden, and gather round the table for the meal you have made. Come hungry, leave as family.
